The Comets Story
Founded in 2006 at Miles Park, Cloverdale, Cloverdale Comets began with a shared vision: to teach children the fundamentals of diamond sports in an environment built on fun, fair play, and family involvement. Born from the passion of a group of dedicated parents, the club quickly grew—adding adult teams who embraced the sport with the same enthusiasm, competing at Dale Districts in Langford.
Today, Cloverdale Comets is proud to have over 200 active players spanning teeball, softball, and baseball. We call Redcliffe Park in Redcliffe and Dale Districts in Langford our home, hosting games and training year-round. While we’ve celebrated numerous victories at district and state championships, our greatest achievement remains the lifelong friendships forged on the diamond. Many of our adult members have shared the field—and memories—since their earliest teeball days.
Whether you're swinging your first bat or coming back for another season, the Comets spirit is about community, competition, and connection.
Year Round Diamond Sports
TEEBALL: October to March (includes School Holiday / Christmas Break) Minis: 3yo - 5yo / Juniors: 6yo - 9yo / Seniors: 10yo - 12yo Warren Lake Carnival: Sunday in December State Championships: Long Weekend in March 2025 SOFTBALL Summer - Ladies (social - not too serious!), playing Friday nights at Dale Districts in Langford. Winter - U16 Boys / U13 Mixed / Div 8 Mens / Div 7 Mens / Div 4 Mens / Div 1 Mens. Competitions and teams vary season to season. The men's teams range from social to competitive, depending on the division!
